• City vs. U.S. comparisons. The FBI feed is live (states and national, monthly). City pages still compare against the average of covered cities because city figures include simple assault and the FBI’s do not; a like-for-like comparison is being worked out.
• Los Angeles, current data. LAPD’s new NIBRS dataset (from March 2024) is being validated before it replaces the historical feed.
• More cities. Houston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Memphis, Las Vegas, San Antonio, Atlanta, Seattle and Washington, D.C. are next, each added once its portal is verified.
